MarketOne announces release of Mobile Messaging Connector for Eloqua

MarketOne today reveals the MarketOne Mobile Messaging Connector for Eloqua, enabling clients to quickly and easily incorporate mobile messaging into their automated customer engagement programs.

Available immediately, the connector enables users of the Eloqua marketing automation platform to add fully-personalized SMS or MMS messages to any automated program or campaign canvas. Auto-responses can be configured based on keywords, campaigns or phone numbers. Both outbound and inbound messages can be tracked, reported on, and used for further segmentation.

In the B2B space, the first use case that comes to mind is messaging before, during and after events. For example, sending a final SMS reminder to webinar registrants, or a message providing details of a VIP seminar during a customer conference. However the potential for using mobile messaging is limitless. Other use cases include:

  • Prompts to activate a software trial download
  • Confirmations and updates on online order status
  • Dual factor authentication for product log-ins
  • Appointment reminders for sales meetings
  • Sales alerts when key prospects submit a form

HBF Health is already using the MarketOne Messaging Connector to welcome and communicate with their customers – many of whom haven’t historically provided an email address. By using mobile messaging, HBF aims to provide customers with up-to-the-minute information and give them the option to manage their relationship with HBF online: reducing the need for paper-based communications.

Pricing starts at US $1,000/month. Messaging costs can be bundled if clients do not have an established relationship with a messaging provider.
